Terms of Service
These terms cover your use of fromdemo.com and any request you send through it. FromDemo is operated by From Demo LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company based in Berlin, New Jersey, USA (registration no. 025072562).
Every project is covered by a separate written agreement signed before work begins. If that agreement and these terms ever differ, the signed agreement wins.
Services and prices
- Basic, $1,200 per project: a full video up to 60 seconds, script and storyboard, one revision round.
- Standard, $2,200 per project: a full video of 2-4 minutes, hero shots at max quality, two revision rounds, 3 vertical social cuts.
- Premium, $4,200 per project: full art direction, character and brand consistency, animated lyrics or captions, launch-day support.
- Launch offer: our next two Standard projects are $1,500 each, in exchange for permission to show the finished video in our portfolio.
Prices on the Hebrew site are shown in shekels and include VAT: Basic ₪5,310, Standard ₪10,030, Premium ₪18,880, launch offer ₪6,490. Prices can change, and the price that applies is the one in your written quote.
The free 15-second sample
The free sample has no cost and no obligation to buy. We create it from the brand information you send. It is a preview to help you evaluate our work. To use it commercially, you need a paid project. We may decline requests that fall outside the content rules below.
Process and payment
- Payment: 50% deposit before work begins, 50% balance on final delivery.
- Turnaround: 5-10 business days for Basic and Standard, 10-15 for Premium.
- Revisions: the number of rounds included is listed in each package. Each extra round is $150 (₪472 incl. VAT on the Hebrew site).
- Cancel before script approval: full refund of the deposit.
- Cancel after production starts: no refund of costs already incurred. The rest of the deposit is returned.
Before any purchase, we talk through this site, the forms and email. Once you decide to go ahead, someone from the studio will contact you personally to arrange payment and transfers.
Rights and ownership
- Once the project is paid in full, you receive full commercial usage rights to the final deliverable.
- Raw working files stay with the studio.
- We show a client's work in our portfolio only with that client's consent. The launch offer includes that consent.
- You confirm that you own, or have permission to use, any logo, footage, music or other material you send us. You allow us to use it for your project.
What we do not make
- The face of a real, identifiable person (a celebrity, a politician, or anyone else) without their consent.
- Political content, or third-party logos and brands without an explicit license.
- Protected music is handled carefully. Every deliverable is checked against Content ID before publishing.
- Medical or financial outcome claims are reviewed with you against the regulatory requirements before they appear in a video.
Sound, music and copyright
Videos on this site play without sound. Many of them contain music we do not own. We respect copyright and our clients, so we show sound only where we have the rights and the client's consent.
How we work with AI
Our production uses AI generation tools alongside human direction, scripting and editing. Some examples on the site are studio demos for fictional brands, and they are labelled as such. Linda, the chat assistant, is an AI. Her answers are general information and do not change your quote or agreement.
Using this website
Please do not misuse the site. That includes sending spam, trying to break or overload it, or copying our videos and content for your own use. The videos, text and design on this site belong to FromDemo or are shown with permission.
Liability
The website and its content are provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, FromDemo is not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability for a project is limited to the amount you paid for that project.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, USA. If you are a consumer, this does not take away any mandatory protection given by the law of the country where you live.
