Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information FromDemo collects through fromdemo.com, why, and what you can do about it. We keep it short and specific: it describes what the site actually does.
Who we are
FromDemo is operated by From Demo LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company based in Berlin, New Jersey, USA (registration no. 025072562). We decide how your information is used, and you can reach us at hello@fromdemo.com.
What we collect
- Quote and free-sample forms: your name, email address, brand or project name, and anything you choose to tell us about the project (type, budget range, timeline, notes). Optionally, a WhatsApp number and whether you ticked the newsletter box.
- Where the request came from: the address of the page you sent it from. If you arrived from an ad, that address can include campaign tags (such as gclid, fbclid or utm_ parameters).
- Chat with Linda: the messages you type to Linda, our AI assistant. If you ask Linda to send a request for you, she collects the same details as the forms.
- Technical data: your IP address, used briefly to block spam and limit repeated requests, and the standard server logs kept by our hosting provider.

How we use it
- To answer your request, prepare your quote or free sample, and follow up about it.
- Your WhatsApp number, if you give it, is used only for urgent messages or important updates about your request.
- To send our newsletter, only if you ticked the box. Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link.
- To understand which pages and ads bring requests, so we can improve the site and our campaigns.
- To keep the site secure and stop abuse.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the UK, our legal bases are: taking steps you asked for before a possible contract (your request), your consent (the newsletter, which you can withdraw at any time), and our legitimate interests (site security, measuring and improving the site and our ads).
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We use a small number of service providers who process it on our behalf:
- Hostinger: website hosting and our hello@fromdemo.com mailbox.
- Google: Google Analytics and Google Ads (measurement), and Gmail, where a copy of each request is delivered to the studio's inbox.
- Meta: the Meta Pixel measures which of our Facebook and Instagram ads lead to visits and requests.
- Anthropic: processes your chat messages to generate Linda's replies.
- Mailchimp (Intuit): newsletter delivery, only if you opted in.
- Ahrefs: privacy-focused website analytics.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it. These providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards for those transfers.
About Linda, the chat assistant
Linda is an AI assistant, not a person. The conversation is kept in your browser for the current tab only (session storage) and is cleared when you close the tab. Our server does not store chat transcripts. It keeps only usage counts and short-lived rate-limit counters. What you type is sent to Anthropic to generate the reply, so please do not share sensitive information in the chat. Linda's answers are general information. Your written quote and signed agreement are what count.
Cookies and browser storage
- Google Analytics sets cookies to count visits and see how the site is used.
- Google Ads sets cookies to measure which ads lead to requests. You can manage ad personalization at adssettings.google.com.
- Meta Pixel sets cookies to measure our Facebook and Instagram ads. If your device is set to a European time zone, it loads only after you allow it in the banner. You can manage ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram settings.
- Local storage remembers the language you chose, so the site does not redirect you again. It also remembers your Meta Pixel choice.
- Session storage keeps your chat with Linda for the current tab.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without them.
How long we keep it
We keep requests and related emails for as long as we need them to handle your request and follow up, and no longer than 24 months after our last contact. If you become a client, we keep project records for as long as the agreement, accounting and legal obligations require. We keep newsletter data until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. You can also object to how we use it, withdraw your consent, or ask for a copy of it. Email hello@fromdemo.com and we will reply within 30 days. If you are in the EEA, the UK or Israel, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Security
The site runs over HTTPS. Access to requests and our mailbox is limited to the studio, and account credentials are stored outside the public website. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Children
Our services are for businesses and adults. The site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will also be noted on the site.
